Ensure high system availability and performance Systems Administrator **Company:** Slash Systems ME **Location:** Building 220, Street 315, Zone 53, Al Waab, Al Rayyan, Qatar **Salary:** **QAR 108,000 per year** Job Summary Slash Systems ME is seeking a skilled and proactive **Systems Administrator** to join our IT team in Al Waab, Al Rayyan. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, operating systems, and enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to ensuring high system availability and performance. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications. * Monitor system performance and ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure. * Manage user accounts, permissions, group policies, and access controls. * Perform routine system updates, software installations, and security patch management. * Configure and maintain virtualization platforms, cloud services, and storage solutions. * Monitor backups, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity plans. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, server, and network issues in a timely manner. * Implement security measures, antivirus solutions, firewalls, and system monitoring tools. * Maintain technical documentation, system inventories, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support infrastructure upgrades and technology projects. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Infrastructure Administrator, or in a similar role. * Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies. * Experience with Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper\-V, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and backup solutions is preferred. * Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA Server\+, VMware, Cisco, or Linux certifications are an advantage.
