Summary: Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, diagnosing faults, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and hygiene standards Key Responsibilities * Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment. * Diagnose basic mechanical faults and assist in repairing equipment to minimize production downtime. * Perform routine inspections of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, mixers, ovens, and other production equipment. * Replace worn or damaged mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, seals, and couplings. * Lubricate machinery according to the preventive maintenance schedule. * Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and relocation. * Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment checklists. * Ensure proper housekeeping of the workshop and maintenance areas. * Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety requirements during maintenance work. * Coordinate with production personnel to complete maintenance activities with minimal disruption. * Report equipment abnormalities and recommend corrective actions to the Maintenance Supervisor. * Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, GMP, HACCP, and company hygiene standards. * Participate in emergency breakdown maintenance whenever required. * Carry out any other maintenance\-related duties assigned by management. Qualifications * Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. * Vocational training in mechanical maintenance is an advantage. Experience * 1–3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or industrial environment. Work Location: In person
