**Production Coordinator – Job Description**
A **Production Coordinator** is responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, and coordination of manufacturing or production activities to ensure products are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. They work closely with production supervisors, warehouse staff, procurement teams, and quality control personnel to maintain efficient operations and resolve production issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate daily production schedules and workflows.
* Monitor production progress and ensure deadlines are met.
* Communicate with production, purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams.
* Track raw materials, inventory levels, and production outputs.
* Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records.
* Assist in resolving production delays, equipment issues, and material shortages.
* Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
* Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet specifications.
* Schedule meetings and provide administrative support for production operations.
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
* Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning, or operations coordination is an advantage.
* Strong organizational and time\-management skills.
* Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or production planning software is a plus.
* Ability to work in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment.
