Coordinate with project teams and ensure HSE compliance **\* Job Summary** We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer to oversee civil and structural quality assurance and quality control activities at the project site. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction works, materials, and testing activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements. **\* Key Responsibilities** * Conduct civil and structural inspections at the project site in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, and applicable regulatory standards. * Inspect construction materials and workmanship to verify their quality, suitability, and compliance before approval and installation. * Perform regular quality checks and site surveillance to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved standards and project requirements. * Review material submittals, certificates, test reports, and supporting documentation before materials are accepted for use. * Coordinate and witness material testing, field measurements, and laboratory tests to confirm compliance with the required specifications. * Identify defects, deviations, and non\-conformities and issue the necessary reports while recommending and following up on corrective and preventive actions. * Monitor construction progress and highlight potential quality risks or issues that may affect project delivery. * Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, test results, daily quality records, approvals, certificates, and other project documentation. * Coordinate with project engineers, construction teams, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure effective implementation of QA/QC procedures. * Communicate inspection requirements, quality observations, and corrective actions clearly to all relevant parties. * Support testing and commissioning activities to confirm that completed works meet the required quality, performance, and functionality standards before handover. * Participate in final inspections, snagging, rectification follow\-up, and project handover activities. * Ensure that work activities are carried out in accordance with applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements. * Maintain organised and traceable records of inspections, approvals, testing activities, and quality\-related correspondence. **Required Qualifications and Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. * Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil \& Fit\-out QA/QC activities within mega projects. * Previous professional experience working specifically in a QA/QC Engineer position is mandatory. * Good understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures, Inspection and Test Plans, method statements, material inspections, and inspection requests. * Ability to identify quality issues, investigate their causes, and recommend suitable corrective and preventive actions. * Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site construction teams. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant engineering and document\-control software.
