




Position Title: Business Development Executive – Garments \& Textiles Department: Business Development / Sales Reports To: Business Development Manager Location: Qatar Employment Type: Full\-Time Industry Focus: **Garment Manufacturing, Textiles, Apparel** **JOB SUMMARY** The Business Development Executive (BDE) supports the BDM in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the garment sector. With practical production experience, the BDE engages potential clients, supports proposal development, and ensures smooth communication between clients and the production team. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** 1\. Lead Generation \& Prospecting Research and identify potential clients in Qatar/GCC (corporate, retail, hospitality, fashion brands). Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions. 2\. Client Support \& Communication Assist in preparing presentations, samples, and quotations. Schedule and participate in client meetings and factory visits. Serve as a liaison between clients and production/design teams. Provide clients with updates on order progress. 3\. Production Knowledge Application Use hands\-on garment production experience to: Explain manufacturing processes to clients Advise on suitable materials and techniques Help clients visualize final product feasibility Support in creating tech packs and product specifications. 4\. Sales Administration Maintain client database and sales records in CRM. Follow up on proposals and pending orders. Prepare regular activity and pipeline reports. 5\. Market Intelligence Gather information on competitor offerings and pricing. Report on customer feedback and market demands. **QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business, Textile, Fashion, or related. Experience: 3–5 years in sales, business development, or client relations. At least 2 years in garment manufacturing, production, or textile industry (in Qatar or home country). Experience in uniform sales, retail buying, or fabric sourcing is advantageous. **SKILLS \& COMPETENCIES** Good understanding of garment production stages Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment costing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self\-motivated and target\-driven Familiarity with CRM and MS Office English required; Arabic **KPIs** Number of qualified leads generated per month Meeting and presentation targets Proposal submission rate Support in achieving team sales targets **COMMON REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH ROLES** Production Experience Must Include: Knowledge of cutting, stitching, finishing, quality control Understanding of sourcing, fabrics, and trims Experience with tech packs, samples, and production timelines Awareness of industry compliance and standards Preferred for Qatar Market: Existing contacts with Qatar\-based brands, hotels, corporates, or government entities Understanding of Qatar’s business culture and regulations Ability to navigate local industry networks **HOW TO APPLY** Interested candidate can apply direct through Indeed.
