Coordinate with diverse teams including contractors and architects Civil Engineer — Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities * Prepare and review engineering drawings, designs, and specifications. * Plan and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs and project requirements. * Perform site inspections and monitor construction progress. * Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and other engineering teams. * Calculate quantities, materials, costs, and project requirements. * Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, building codes, and safety standards. * Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship. * Identify and resolve technical and construction\-related issues. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Review contractor submissions, method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals. * Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, quantity estimation, and cost control. * Maintain accurate project documentation and records. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * **Valid UPDA certification is required.** * **Valid driving license is required.** * Relevant professional engineering certifications are an advantage. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/design software. * Good understanding of construction methods, materials, engineering standards, and applicable building codes. * Strong communication, problem\-solving, and project coordination skills. * Previous construction and site experience is preferred.
