Strong background in Facility Management maintenance and operations **Firefighting Technician** **Location:** Qatar **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Firefighting Technician** to perform the operation, inspection, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of firefighting systems in commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Facility Management maintenance and operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Inspect, maintain, and repair firefighting systems, including fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hose reels, hydrants, valves, and associated equipment. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules. * Conduct routine testing and inspections to ensure systems are fully operational. * Troubleshoot faults and carry out necessary repairs. * Maintain maintenance records and prepare service reports. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire codes, and Facility Management standards. * Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of assigned work. **Requirements** * Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire \& Safety, or a related technical field. * **Minimum 5 years of experience** as a **Firefighting Technician** in **Facility Management, Maintenance, and Operations**. * Hands\-on experience with firefighting systems, fire pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and related equipment. * Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. * Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals. * Good communication skills in English. * Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
