Receive on-the-job training and mentoring for professional development Graduate Interior Design Trainee **Department:** Interior Design **Reports To:** Senior Interior Designer / Design Manager Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and creative **Graduate Interior Design Trainee** to join our Interior Design team. This role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to gain practical experience in commercial and residential interior design projects. The trainee will support senior designers in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, selecting materials, and coordinating project documentation while building professional skills in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities * Assist in preparing interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations. * Support the development of 2D drawings and 3D models using design software. * Prepare mood boards, material boards, and design presentations. * Assist in selecting furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials (FF\&E). * Conduct site visits and take measurements when required. * Support the preparation of shop drawings and project documentation. * Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project teams as assigned. * Maintain organized project files and design documentation. * Assist with quantity take\-offs and material schedules. * Follow company standards, project requirements, and design guidelines. * Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Interior Designer or Design Manager. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field. * Fresh graduate or up to one year of experience. * Basic knowledge of interior design principles and space planning. * Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, or similar design software. * Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is an advantage. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
