Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy. Assess guest needs and gather information regarding contraindications (e.g., allergies, hypertension, pregnancy) prior to beginning service. Stay current with the latest techniques and modalities relevant to the field. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms. Set up the workstation, treatment room, and drapes. Frequently check in with guests to ensure comfort, safety, and service security. Promote and sell spa and salon services, including retail spa-related offerings. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools. Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room throughout the shift; dispose of trash and soiled linens; secure inventory and equipment at the end of each shift. Monitor and adhere to the schedule throughout the day. Manage inappropriate guest behavior by following Marriott International’s Standard Operating Procedures for inappropriate conduct toward guests and therapists, up to and including discontinuing a treatment or service and notifying the supervisor or manager. Maintain current skills and licenses within the service area as required by regional regulations. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management; complete safety training and obtain certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure wearing of a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times while on property; respect confidentiality when sharing information specific to the brand and/or hotel; protect all company assets. Greet and welcome all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Develop and maintain positive, productive working relationships with others. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds (22.7 kg) without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
