Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements Network Support Engineer (L2/L3\) Network Support Engineer (L2/L3\)Job Overview We are looking for an experienced **Network Support Engineer (L2/L3\)** to join our team and support enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, network security, firewalls, VPN technologies, and cloud networking. This role involves managing daily network operations, troubleshooting complex incidents, supporting infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring the availability, security, and performance of enterprise network services. Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day network and security operations. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex L2/L3 network incidents and escalations. * Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, wireless, and security environments. * Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancement activities. * Implement and maintain network standards, policies, and best practices. * Perform proactive network monitoring, health checks, and performance optimization. * Ensure network availability, redundancy, and resilience. * Maintain network documentation, configurations, and architecture diagrams. * Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support business requirements. * Provide technical ownership for assigned incidents and infrastructure changes. Required Technical Skills * Strong experience in **Routing \& Switching**. * Excellent understanding of enterprise networking and security concepts. * Hands\-on experience with **Next\-Generation Firewalls**: * Cisco * Palo Alto * Fortinet * Strong knowledge of VPN technologies: * SSL VPN * IPsec VPN * Experience with: * DNS * F5 LTM/GTM * Email Security Solutions * Network Access Control (NAC) * AAA Servers * Experience with network performance monitoring, analysis, and optimization. * Knowledge of **Azure Networking and Security**, including: * VNETs * Routing * Network Security Groups (NSGs) * Azure Firewall Experience \& Qualifications * 6–10\+ years of experience in enterprise network support or operations. * Proven experience managing complex network and security environments. * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. * Ability to work independently and handle escalations effectively. * Relevant certifications are preferred: * CCNP * PCNSE * Azure Networking/Security Certifications Preferred Candidate Profile * Strong experience supporting enterprise\-scale network environments. * Ability to work across networking and security domains. * Good understanding of incident management and escalation processes. * Customer\-focused approach with strong ownership of technical issues.
