Summary: Parkview Pet Center is seeking an experienced Procurement & Inventory Officer to manage purchasing, supplier sourcing, inventory planning, and related clinic administration for veterinary products and operational requirements. Coordinate freight, customs clearance, and maintain supplier records Role Overview Parkview Pet Center is looking for an experienced Procurement \& Inventory Officer to manage purchasing, supplier sourcing, inventory planning and related clinic administration. The role covers local and international procurement of veterinary medicines, medical supplies, equipment, retail products and general operational requirements. The successful candidate must be commercially aware, confident with inventory calculations and capable of researching unfamiliar products independently. This is not a basic purchase\-order or general administration position. Key Responsibilities * Source products from local and international suppliers. * Prepare RFQs, compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery conditions. * Review previous purchase prices and investigate significant cost increases. * Calculate reorder points, safety stock and appropriate order quantities based on consumption, lead time and current stock. * Monitor stock availability, expiry dates, slow\-moving items and overstock risks. * Calculate unit cost, landed cost and expected gross margin before recommending purchases. * Prepare purchase orders and track orders, payments, deliveries and outstanding supplier actions. * Coordinate freight, customs clearance, import permits and supporting documentation. * Maintain supplier records, quotations, contracts and purchasing history. * Coordinate contractors, maintenance providers and minor facility projects. * Support product catalogue management on platforms such as Snoonu and Talabat. * Assist with limited clinic and clerical administration when required. * Provide management with clear updates, commercial comparisons and recommended solutions. Requirements * Minimum three years of practical procurement and inventory\-control experience. * Previous procurement experience in Qatar and good knowledge of the local supplier market. * Experience sourcing products locally and internationally. * Ability to calculate reorder points, order quantities, landed costs and gross margins. * Experience with supplier negotiation, RFQs, purchase orders and delivery follow\-up. * Experience with import, shipping or customs\-clearance documentation. * Strong Microsoft Excel skills. * Experience using an ERP, inventory or purchasing system. * Strong research, numerical and problem\-solving skills. * Good written and spoken English. * Strong attention to detail and reliable follow\-through. * Currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable sponsorship or eligibility to change employer. Preferred * Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field. * Experience in veterinary, medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, dental, FMCG or specialist retail procurement. * Experience managing products with expiry dates. * CIPS or another procurement or supply\-chain qualification. * Arabic language ability. Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a practical assessment covering procurement, inventory calculations, supplier comparisons and product sourcing.
