Support projects from concept through construction activities We are seeking a skilled and motivated Road Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and development of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects. This role involves preparing engineering designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and supporting projects from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities * Design roads, highways, intersections, and related transportation infrastructure. * Prepare geometric road designs, alignments, profiles, and cross\-sections. * Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports. * Conduct roadway capacity, traffic, and drainage analyses as required. * Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international engineering standards. * Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, utility teams, and other stakeholders. * Review and incorporate client and regulatory agency requirements. * Support construction activities by responding to technical queries and reviewing contractor submissions. * Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations. * Assist in cost estimation, project scheduling, and design reviews. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in road and highway design. * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or similar design software. * Strong understanding of roadway geometric design principles and transportation engineering standards.
