Resolve site constraints and technical issues **Site Manager – Desalination/RO Construction Project** **Location:** Ras Laffan, Qatar **Job Type:** Full\-time **Salary:** Up to QAR 18,000 per month, depending on experience and interview performance Job Summary We are hiring an experienced **Site Manager** for a major desalination/Reverse Osmosis construction project in Qatar. The selected candidate will manage site construction activities, manpower, subcontractors, safety, quality, planning and coordination with the client and main contractor. Key Responsibilities * Manage all mechanical and piping construction activities at the project site. * Lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workforce. * Plan manpower, equipment and materials according to the project schedule. * Supervise metallic piping fabrication, erection, welding, testing and commissioning. * Coordinate mechanical\-equipment installation and alignment. * Monitor daily progress and ensure achievement of project milestones. * Review drawings, method statements, risk assessments and work procedures. * Coordinate inspections, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement and mechanical completion. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and Qatar HSE regulations. * Attend progress, technical and coordination meetings with the client and main contractor. * Resolve site constraints and technical issues. * Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship. * Control punch\-list clearance, system handover and project documentation. * Ensure full compliance with PTW, HIRA/JSA, SIMOPS and site\-safety procedures. Mandatory Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 15 years of construction experience, including substantial Site Manager\-level responsibility. * Minimum ten years of GCC construction experience. * Strong GCC oil\-and\-gas, petrochemical or industrial\-project background. * Experience in metallic process\-piping fabrication and erection. * Practical knowledge of welding, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement and test packages. * Experience managing large construction teams and subcontractors. * Strong knowledge of project planning, quality control and HSE requirements. * Excellent English communication, leadership and reporting skills. * Desalination, RO, water\-treatment or power\-plant construction experience is strongly preferred.
