Career growth and development opportunities Buyer / Purchaser Procurement ! please don't apply !!! **Location:** Qatar (Local Hire) **Salary:** QAR 4,500 – 5,000 Job Summary Seaworks is seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchaser to support our Marine, Offshore, and Oil \& Gas operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating pricing, and ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for ongoing operations and projects. Key Responsibilities * Handle day\-to\-day purchasing and procurement activities. * Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations. * Prepare and process RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation. * Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors. * Coordinate with operations, technical, and marine teams to fulfill material requirements. * Ensure timely delivery of spare parts, tools, consumables, equipment, and services. * Maintain supplier databases and develop strong vendor relationships. * Track purchase orders and resolve delivery or supply issues. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and budgets. * Monitor inventory levels and support cost\-saving initiatives. * Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records. Requirements * Valid Qatar Driving License (Mandatory). * Currently based in Qatar (Preferred). * Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. * Experience in Marine, Offshore, Oil \& Gas, Engineering, or Technical Purchasing is preferred. * Familiarity with hydraulic equipment, metal products, fabrication materials, and industrial spare parts procurement. * Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, supplier evaluation, and vendor management. * Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
