Summary: This role involves comprehensive design and estimation of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with standards and client satisfaction. Highlights: 1. Lead design and estimation for fire protection systems 2. Collaborate with sales and project teams on technical inquiries 3. Drive full estimation & design lifecycle processes **Requirements:** * Preparation of estimates for BOM for all tenders and job\-on\-hand projects for all RFQ for submission to the * Sales Team as basis of Quotation to Clients. * **Answering all enquiries related to design activities for the Sales \& Commercial Department.** * Works with the Project Engineer on meeting with Clients and Consultants for any queries related to design and * site issues of existing projects. * **Support to Commercial Department on all related Technical enquiries \& tenders.** * Supports the Project Engineer for any project related concerns (i.e. changes in the design suitable to site * conditions, etc.) * **Conducts site survey for all projects as required as per RFQ, compile details \& prepare a suitable quote.** * UPDA and Qatar Civil Defence (QCDD) Certified. * Robust knowledge of relevant NFPA and QCDD standards. * Capable in studying Project Specifications, producing BOQs, Costing Sheets and preparation of Techno\-Commercial Bids. * Experienced in arranging Designs using Industry recognized tools like AutoCAD, PipeNET, FireCAD etc. * Highly motivated and enthusiastic Individual with successful track record of Fire Protection \- Estimation and Design for Projects in Oil \& Gas, Industrial and Commercial sectors. * Strong ability to effectively communicate within the organization and with all stakeholders.**Key Responsibilities:** * Design \& Estimation of Fire Protection Systems to the full satisfaction of the organization and client, ensuring compliance to all stipulated standards. * Manage and drive the complete Estimation \& Design Life cycle processes in full compliance to relevant NFPA and QCDD standards including. \- Studying Project Specification \- Preparation of BOQs \- Generation of Costing Sheets \- Preparation of Bids/Quotations/Proposals \- Preparation \& submission of Design Drawings and Documents * Coordinate effectively with existing business units/manufacturers/suppliers. * Execute and complete Design packages for projects meeting clients requirements, within the Project budget and within the agreed schedule. * Review Client requirements and arrange Design Drawings/Deliverables for client review and approval. * Provide timely Reports to the Management in line with the organizational guidelines on the status of the Enquiries/Bids and Design deliverables.
