Ensure tasks are planned, authorized, and executed under strict risk-management Role Summary We are seeking a highly responsible and certified **Permit to Work (PTW) Holder** to oversee safety compliance and execution of work scopes at our Ras Laffan site. You will act as the vital bridge between our construction crews and the asset's Issuing Authority. Your primary mission is to ensure that every task—whether hot work, cold work, or confined space entry—is planned, authorized, and executed under strict risk\-management protocols. Key Responsibilities * **Permit Management:** Prepare, submit, and renew all necessary Permit to Work (PTW) applications, including Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space Entry, and Radiography permits, in alignment with RLIC and asset\-specific safety management systems. * **Risk Assessment:** Conduct and review Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) alongside the safety team before work commences. * **Site Supervision \& Tool Box Talks:** Lead daily Tool Box Talks (TBT) to clearly communicate permit conditions, isolated hazards, and mandatory PPE to the execution crew. * **Isolations \& Compliance:** Verify that all energy isolations (Lockout/Tagout \- LOTO), gas testing, and safety barriers are actively in place before starting work. * **Authority Liaison:** Coordinate directly with the site's Issuing Authorities (e.g., QatarEnergy LNG, Shell Pearl GTL, Dolphin Energy) for daily permit sign\-offs and handbacks. * **Stop\-Work Responsibility:** Monitor the work area continuously for changing conditions. Exercise absolute authority to suspend work if any permit condition is breached or unsafe hazards emerge. Requirements \& Qualifications * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 to 5 years of field experience in the Oil \& Gas, Petrochemical, or LNG sector, with at least 2 years serving directly as an authorized Permit Holder. * **Technical Knowledge:** Deep understanding of mechanical/electrical isolations, confined space safety, working at heights, and gas detection procedures. * **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory to interface with asset operators. Multi\-lingual capability (Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, or Arabic) is a major asset for managing multinational crews.
