Coordination of multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultants Vistas GlobalEngineering·Doha, Qatar·Full\-time·Ref: RRF\-VG\-BSO\-2026\-1018 **About the role** ------------------ We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support engineering, design, construction, and startup activities across capital projects within the Oil \& Gas/Petrochemical industry, ensuring safe, efficient, and successful project execution. This is a full\-time position based in Qatar. **What we're looking for** -------------------------- **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage) * 5–7 years of project engineering experience within the Oil \& Gas industry * Experience supporting FEED, Detailed Design, Construction, and Startup phases of capital projects * Familiarity with process engineering, plant design, and project execution methodologies * Exposure to petrochemical projects is highly preferred * Proficient in English; working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage **Skills \& Competencies** * Expertise in reviewing process engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P\&IDs, plot plans, and process design documentation * Experience participating in HAZOP, MOC, PSSR, and process safety evaluations * Capable of supporting process control systems, interlocks, shutdown logic, and DCS design reviews * Adept at coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and technical consultants * Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and industrial safety standards throughout project execution * Effective planning, technical problem\-solving, and project coordination capabilities * Ability to prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and project recommendations accurately
