Ensure planning compliance with contract requirements and project milestones **Job Summary** The Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for building construction and renovation works. The role ensures effective planning, progress tracking, resource management, and timely project delivery while coordinating with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop detailed project schedules and baseline programs using **Primavera P6 / MS Project** * Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for construction and renovation activities * Monitor daily site progress and update project schedules accordingly * Analyze delays, identify critical path activities, and recommend corrective actions * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams * Review subcontractor programs and ensure alignment with master schedule * Assist in manpower planning, material scheduling, and resource allocation * Support preparation of recovery programs and revised schedules when required * Participate in project meetings and present planning updates * Maintain documentation of project progress, variations, and extensions of time (EOT) * Ensure planning compliance with contract requirements and project milestones **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering / Construction Management** * Minimum **10 years’ experience** in building construction and renovation projects * Proficiency in **Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel** * Understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle * Knowledge of local construction standards and project documentation **Skills \& Competencies** * Strong analytical and planning skills * Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Good communication and coordination abilities * Problem\-solving and risk management skills * Teamwork and stakeholder management **Working Conditions** * Combination of office and site\-based work * Coordination with multiple project teams and subcontractors * Tight project schedules and renovation deadlines Job Type: Permanent
