Experience \& Requirements * **20\+ years of experience** in **Transmission Network Planning** within utilities and/or engineering consultancy environments. * Minimum **2 years of experience in power system studies** related to transmission networks. * Minimum **5 years of leadership experience** in network planning or related functions. * Strong knowledge and experience in planning **Extra High Voltage (EHV) and High Voltage (HV) transmission networks**. * Experience with transmission voltage levels including: * **400 kV** * **220 kV** * **132 kV** * **66 kV** * Strong understanding of **transmission network development, system reliability, demand forecasting, and long\-term network planning**. * Experience in **power system analysis and network studies**. * Strong leadership, analytical, consulting, and technical decision\-making skills. Objective To provide **expert consultation and strategic technical guidance** for the planning and development of KAHRAMAA’s **Extra High Voltage (EHV) and High Voltage (HV) transmission network**, ensuring the network can accommodate **future demand growth, system expansion, reliability, and operational requirements**. Key Responsibilities * Provide expert advice on the **strategic planning and development** of the transmission network. * Develop and review long\-term transmission network plans for **400 kV, 220 kV, 132 kV, and 66 kV systems**. * Conduct and/or review **transmission network and power system studies**. * Assess future demand growth and determine required network reinforcements and expansions. * Evaluate system reliability, network capacity, and transmission performance. * Provide technical recommendations for new substations, transmission lines, and network reinforcement projects. * Review network planning studies, technical reports, and engineering proposals prepared by consultants. * Coordinate with engineering, operations, projects, and other stakeholders on transmission network development. * Provide expert technical input for **system reliability and long\-term electricity network development**. * Lead and mentor technical teams involved in transmission network planning and system studies.
