Comply with QatarEnergy HSE policies and lifting standards Heavy Driver **Location:** Ras Laffan, Qatar Job Summary We are seeking experienced **Heavy Equipment Operators / Heavy Drivers** to support Oil \& Gas operations in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including mobile cranes, knuckle boom cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers, and man\-lift trucks, while ensuring full compliance with QatarEnergy safety standards, lifting procedures, and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements. Key Responsibilities * Operate mobile telescopic boom cranes, self\-loading knuckle boom cranes, forklift trucks, high\-lift man\-baskets, tractor trailers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. * Perform lifting, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials and equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and approved lifting procedures. * Conduct pre\-start inspections and daily maintenance checks, including fuel, engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, tires, brakes, and safety devices. * Inspect lifting accessories such as slings, hooks, ropes, shackles, and fittings before use and report any defects immediately. * Read and interpret crane load charts, equipment manuals, and manufacturer operating instructions. * Operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems safely. * Monitor equipment performance and report any faults, malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately. * Maintain daily activity logs and equipment inspection records. * Ensure all vehicle documentation, lifting certificates, and operator certifications remain valid. * Comply with QatarEnergy Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies, Permit to Work (PTW) procedures, and lifting standards. * Report accidents, incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor. * Perform other duties as assigned by QatarEnergy management. Qualifications * Minimum Level 5 Secondary Education or equivalent. * Fluent in written and spoken English. * Minimum of **10 years of experience** operating heavy equipment in the Oil \& Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industrial sector. * Strong experience operating **Grove, SANY, and Terex mobile cranes ranging from 40 to 120 tons.** * Good understanding of electronic crane operating systems, load charts, lifting signals, and safe lifting practices. * Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
