Summary: The MEP Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MEP systems in residential properties, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with standards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and energy efficiency requirements. **About the Role:** The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MEP systems in residential properties under facilities management contracts. The role ensures all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate efficiently while complying with safety, quality, and operational standards. **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in residential buildings. * Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) as scheduled and directed by the supervisor. * Conduct daily inspections of critical MEP assets and maintain accurate records and data logs. * Complete corrective and reactive maintenance tasks within the specified timeframe. * Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical panels, lighting systems, and plumbing fixtures. * Perform refrigerant checks, filter replacements, and coil cleaning for air conditioning units. * Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including wiring, circuit breakers, and power distribution panels. * Maintain and repair water supply networks, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, energy efficiency requirements, and plumbing standards. * Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore essential MEP services with minimal disruption. **Requirements:** * Diploma or ITI Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or a related MEP discipline. * MEP Technician Certification is an advantage. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Technician in residential, commercial, or facilities management environments. * Experience maintaining high\-rise buildings, villas, and community properties is preferred. * Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. * Proficiency in using maintenance and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and testing equipment. * Familiarity with energy\-efficient MEP solutions and building automation systems (BMS). * Good communication, problem\-solving, and time management skills. * Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to MEP operations.
