Operate hydro-jetting equipment for cleaning refinery equipment Assistant Pipe Fitter **Location:** Ras Laffan, Qatar Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **Assistant Pipe Fitter** to support maintenance activities in refinery operations. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance, repair, installation, and overhaul of piping systems and fixed mechanical equipment while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational standards. Key Responsibilities * Assist QatarEnergy technicians in carrying out routine maintenance of piping systems, valves, flanges, and associated equipment. * Inspect flanges and valves, identify leaks, and replace valve packing as required. * Perform maintenance and repair of valves both in the workshop and at site. * Assist in dismantling, repairing, reinstalling, and aligning pipelines and piping components. * Participate in maintenance of steam boilers, including hydraulic testing activities. * Support major equipment overhauls and annual refinery shutdown maintenance. * Operate hydro\-jetting equipment for cleaning heat exchangers, air coolers, towers, vessels, and other refinery equipment. * Perform cleaning and maintenance of refinery equipment while following company safety procedures. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with HSE requirements. Qualifications * Industrial Diploma Certificate or completion of twelve (12\) years of formal education. * Minimum of **5 years of practical experience** in maintenance and repair of refinery or petrochemical equipment. * Experience working with piping systems, valves, flanges, boilers, and heat exchangers. * Knowledge of refinery maintenance practices and safe work procedures. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Maximum age: **45 years old**.
