QC Inspector

Summary: This role involves performing in-process and final QC inspections of welded assemblies and machined components, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications. Highlights: 1. Coordinate with vendor QC, production, and client representatives **Qualifications \& Experience** * Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum **5–10 years of QC inspection experience** in the Oil \& Gas industry. * Strong experience in **welding inspection, machine shop inspection, and pressure testing**. * Good knowledge of **API 6A, API 7\-1, API Q1, ASME BPVC, ISO standards**, engineering drawings, and GD\&T. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform in\-process and final inspections of welded assemblies and machined components at vendor facilities. * Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, approved procedures, ITPs, and SLB quality requirements. * Review and verify **WPS, PQR, WQR**, material certificates (MTCs), and NDT reports (RT, UT, PT, MT). * Conduct visual inspections of welds, monitor welding activities, and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures. * Inspect machined components for dimensional accuracy, tolerances, surface finish, and material traceability. * Witness hydrostatic and gas pressure testing, ensuring calibrated equipment, approved procedures, correct test parameters, safety compliance, and accurate recording of results. * Prepare inspection reports, release notes, daily/weekly reports, and Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions. * Coordinate with vendor QC, production, project teams, and client representatives, acting as the client's quality representative at the vendor facility. * Support audits, client inspections, and ensure all inspection activities comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
