Ensure compliance with hotel safety policies and regulations Job Summary The Hotel Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, employees, visitors, and property. The role includes monitoring hotel premises, preventing unauthorized access, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with hotel safety policies and local regulations in Qatar. * Patrol hotel premises, including entrances, exits, parking areas, corridors, and public spaces. * Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms. * Control access to restricted areas and verify visitor credentials. * Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, and guest complaints. * Prepare daily security reports and incident documentation. * Assist guests and staff with safety\-related concerns. * Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and hotel management when required. * Conduct routine inspections to identify security or safety risks. * Ensure compliance with hotel policies and Qatar safety regulations. * Handle lost and found procedures according to hotel standards. * Support crowd control during events, conferences, or VIP visits. * Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in hotel security, hospitality, or related field preferred. * Valid security guard license/certification. * Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. * Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods. * Knowledge of fire safety and emergency response procedures. * Ability to remain calm under pressure.
