Collaboration with development and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs **Job Description: Junior UI/UX Designer** Job Title **Junior UI/UX Designer** Job Objective Contribute to the design and development of user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences by creating user interfaces, researching user needs, and translating ideas and requirements into effective designs aligned with product goals and modern design standards. Key Responsibilities * Assist in UI design for applications, websites, and digital platforms. * Create wireframes and interactive prototypes. * Support the design team in developing enhanced user experiences (UX). * Conduct basic user research and analyze user needs. * Review project requirements and translate them into appropriate design solutions. * Apply design principles such as usability, consistency, and accessibility. * Prepare and update the design system library. * Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs. * Revise designs based on feedback and testing. * Stay updated on current design trends and best practices in UX/UI. * Prepare design files and specifications required by the development team. * Assist in usability testing and user experience analysis. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in: * Graphic Design. * UI Design. * Computer Science. * Digital Media Design. * Information Technology. * Or a related field. Experience * 0–2 years in UI/UX design. * A portfolio demonstrating design skills is a key advantage. Required Skills * Proficiency in design tools such as: * Figma. * Adobe XD. * Sketch. * Fundamental understanding of: * UX Design. * UI Design. * Prototyping. * Design Systems. * Knowledge of visual design principles including: * Color. * Typography. * Spacing. * Layout. * Ability to translate ideas into clear, user-friendly designs. * Strong attention to detail and precision. * Communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to receive feedback and improve designs. * Basic knowledge of web development (HTML/CSS) is an added advantage. Certifications or Courses (Additional Advantage) * UI/UX Design courses. * Certifications in Figma or Adobe XD. * Courses in User Research or Design Thinking. Work Environment * Work within the digital design or product development team. * Collaborate with product designers, developers, business analysts, and project managers. * Project-based, agile/scrum-oriented work environment. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Design quality and alignment with UI/UX standards. * Adherence to design delivery deadlines. * Usability of digital products and improvement of user experience. * Number of improvements resulting from user feedback. * Accuracy in implementing design requirements. * Satisfaction of product and development teams with design file quality.
