Basic Math and English understanding required A leading **Construction Material Testing Company** is urgently seeking **10 Assistant Technicians**. **Requirements:** * No Experience needed * Ability to start immediately. * Basic Math * Can understand basic English **Compensation \& Benefits:** * Salary: **QAR 1,500 per month** * Shared accommodation and transportation provided by the company **Job Summary** As an **Assistant Technician**, you will support laboratory operations by maintaining equipment, assisting in physical testing, and ensuring accurate recording of results. You will work under the guidance of senior staff and technicians to uphold quality and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** **Equipment Maintenance \& Operation:** * Maintain and clean laboratory equipment, tools, and benches. * Set up, adjust, and operate testing equipment such as: * Thermometers, measuring instruments (rulers, beakers, calipers, etc.) * Sieves, sieve shakers, and capping equipment * Compression testing machines, ovens, hot plates, and balances * Density baskets, vibrating tables, impact test machines, and drilling machines * Slump cones, molds, air meters, rebound\-hammer, Marshall/CBR apparatus, and others as directed. **Testing \& Calculations:** * Conduct physical tests and compute results, including: * Sieve analysis, flakiness \& elongation, fineness modulus, water absorption, specific gravity, and density. * Proctor, CBR, and Marshall sample preparation and compaction. * Concrete testing: slump, air content, unit weight, temperature, cylinder/cube/beam preparation, curing, and crushing. * Soil and aggregate sampling, moisture content determination, and rebound\-hammer testing. * Asphalt testing, coring operations, and other assigned laboratory/field tests. **Documentation \& Reporting:** * Record test results on standardized forms or approved formats. * Report equipment errors, malfunctions, or concerns to senior staff. * Follow Quality System procedures, confidentiality, and impartiality standards. * Represent the company professionally and maintain its brand image.
