Summary: An Estimation Engineer in steel fabrication is responsible for preparing and managing accurate cost estimates, coordinating with teams, and identifying cost-effective solutions. Highlights: 1. Manage accurate cost estimates by analyzing drawings and specifications. 2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align estimates. 3. Ensure competitive and updated pricing by tracking market trends. ESTIMATIO ENGINE ER Steel fabrfcation location: Dohn. Qatar Position Qverview: To prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and requirements, ensuring complete pricing and effective budget planning. The role involves coordinating with cross\-functional teams, evaluating project details, and identifying cost\-effective solutions to support successful project execution and achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Review proper specifications, drawings, and scope to prepare accurate cost estimates . Participate in pre\-bid meetings and gather relevant data for pricing. * Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine material, labor and time requirements, Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors * Maintain records of historical pricing, post estimates, and actual project costs. * Assist ln preparing budgets, tender documents, and proposals. * Coordinate with the production and procurement teams to align estimates with actual capabilities, * Track market rotes and trends to ensure competitive end updated pricing, * Prepare estimate vs actual reports for completed prefects. * Support the sales or project requirement with technical queries, related to estimation, Qualification: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Experience: * Minimum of 8 years experience as an estimation ,engineer with minimum 3 years experience in GCC in the heavy steel fabrication, oil and gas, construction industry or related field. * Strong ability to record and interpret technical drawings, and blueprints .. * Proficient in AutoCAD. * Good understanding of CNC machines and steel fabrication processes.
