Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies Job Summary The Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with financial information to ensure proper financial control and compliance. Key Responsibilities * Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system. * Prepare and maintain general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Monitor company expenses and ensure they are within approved budgets. * Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Process supplier invoices and payments. * Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims. * Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies. * Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. * Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records. * Coordinate with auditors during financial audits. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience. * Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar). * Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis. Skills \& Competencies * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Good communication and reporting skills. * High level of integrity and confidentiality. Preferred * Experience in construction or contracting companies. * Knowledge of VAT regulations in Qatar. Job Type: Full\-time Pay: QAR2,500\.00 \- QAR3,500\.00 per month Work Location: In person
