Train and mentor technicians on troubleshooting and safety best practices **Position Overview** The Kitchen Equipment Technician Supervisor leads and manages the maintenance team responsible for all kitchen appliances and equipment across outlets. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and timely resolution of technical issues. The supervisor provides leadership, technical expertise, and coordination with management to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate kitchen equipment technicians across multiple outlets. * Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment. * Monitor performance, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of repairs. * Conduct inspections to verify compliance with safety and hygiene standards. * Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history. * Liaise with suppliers and contractors for specialized repairs or equipment procurement. * Train and mentor technicians on troubleshooting, safety, and operational best practices. * Report equipment performance and maintenance KPIs to management. **Qualifications \& Skills** * Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience in kitchen equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting. * Leadership and team management skills. * Excellent communication and reporting abilities. * Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent breakdowns. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Preventive maintenance completion rate. * Reduction in equipment downtime across outlets. * Team productivity and response time to breakdowns. * Compliance with safety and hygiene standards. * Cost efficiency in repairs and spare parts management.
