3. Opportunities for professional growth and digital transformation leadership
At **Larakaka Foundation**, we believe that technology has the power to transform lives, bridge gaps, and create sustainable change. We are a passionate, mission\-driven non\-profit organization dedicated to community development and empowerment.
We are looking for a tech\-savvy, purpose\-driven **IT Coordinator** to join our team in Doha. If you are someone who wants to use your technical skills to make a real\-world, positive impact—rather than just managing corporate servers—this is the place for you.
**The Role: Why Your Work Matters**
As our IT Coordinator, you won’t just be "the IT person." You will be the digital backbone of our foundation. You will ensure our team has the tools, security, and systems they need to deliver critical programs smoothly. From managing our cloud infrastructure to optimizing on\-site tech and safeguarding our data, your work directly supports our mission.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **System Administration \& Support:** Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our office hardware, software, networks, and communication systems (G Suite/Microsoft 365, Zoom, local networks).
* **Digital Transformation:** Identify and implement smart, cost\-effective tech solutions (CRM, donor management systems, project management tools) to streamline our non\-profit operations.
* **Data Security \& Compliance:** Protect our sensitive donor and beneficiary data by implementing robust cybersecurity best practices and backup protocols.
* **On\-the\-Ground Tech Support:** Provide friendly, patient technical support and training to our diverse team (some of whom may not be very tech\-savvy!).
* **Vendor \& Asset Management:** Manage relationships with external IT vendors, internet service providers, and track all foundation hardware assets.
**Who You Are**
* **A Heart for the Mission:** You are genuinely excited about working in the non\-profit sector and want to use your skills for social good.
* **The Technical Toolkit:** You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands\-on experience).
* **The Problem Solver:** You have **2 to 4 years of experience** in IT support, systems administration, or network management.
* **Adaptable \& Resourceful:** Non\-profits require creativity. You know how to find clever, budget\-friendly open\-source or tech\-for\-good solutions.
* **A Great Communicator:** You can explain complex technical issues in simple, jargon\-free language to your colleagues.
* **Local Resident:** Currently residing in or willing to relocate to **Doha, Qatar** with a valid QID.
**What We Offer**
* **Purpose\-Driven Work:** Every project you support directly contributes to making the world a better place.
* **Collaborative Culture:** Work with a diverse, warm, and highly motivated team of changemakers.
* **Professional Growth:** Opportunities to take ownership of our entire IT ecosystem and spearhead digital transformation projects.
* **Competitive Non\-Profit Compensation:** A competitive salary package, health insurance, and annual flight ticket allowances.
**How to Apply**
If you are ready to combine your technical expertise with a passion for community impact, we want to hear from you!
Please submit your **CV** along with a **short cover letter** telling us why you want to bring your IT talents to the Larakaka Foundation.
