Collaborate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment About the Role Salamatak Health Safety and Environmental Services provides workplace health, safety and environmental consulting, HSE compliance, safety training, risk assessment and occupational safety support to clients across construction, industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee daily health and safety activities at client project sites. You will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting inspections, leading toolbox talks and supporting incident prevention initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and workers to identify hazards, implement corrective actions and maintain a safe working environment. Effective site safety supervision includes planning work, monitoring compliance, leading teams, supporting contractor management and ensuring workforce involvement in the safety management system. Key Responsibilities **Site Inspections:** Conduct routine inspections to identify unsafe conditions, hazardous activities and non\-compliance with HSE requirements. **Safety Monitoring:** Monitor daily site operations to ensure employees and contractors comply with safety policies, procedures and permit\-to\-work requirements. **Risk Assessment:** Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and method statements before work begins. **Toolbox Talks:** Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors. **Incident Investigation:** Investigate accidents, near misses and unsafe acts, determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions. **PPE Compliance:** Ensure workers consistently wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment. **Emergency Preparedness:** Support emergency response planning, evacuation drills and first aid readiness at project sites. **Safety Documentation:** Maintain inspection reports, incident records, permits, training records and HSE documentation accurately. **Corrective Actions:** Monitor the completion of corrective actions identified during inspections, audits and investigations. **Contractor Coordination:** Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with company and client safety standards. **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure all site activities comply with applicable HSE legislation, client requirements and company procedures. **Training Support:** Assist with safety inductions and ongoing HSE training for new and existing personnel. **Safety Audits:** Participate in internal and external HSE audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. **Leadership:** Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, positive engagement and leading by example. **Reporting:** Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE performance reports for management. What We Are Looking For **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, industrial or infrastructure site safety supervision. **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline. **Certification:** NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification is preferred. **HSE Knowledge:** Strong understanding of occupational health, safety and environmental regulations, hazard identification and risk management. **Inspection Skills:** Experience conducting safety inspections, audits and workplace compliance assessments. **Incident Management:** Ability to investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective action recommendations. **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver effective safety briefings. **Leadership:** Proven ability to supervise workers, contractors and subcontractors while promoting safe work practices. **Problem Solving:** Strong analytical and decision\-making skills when responding to workplace safety concerns. **Computer Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic HSE reporting systems. **Attention to Detail:** Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance. **Professionalism:** High level of integrity, accountability and commitment to workplace safety. الراتب المدفوع: QAR٧٨٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ لكل عام موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
