Opportunities for career growth and professional certification About Northside Comp Northside Comp is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technology team in Al Rayyan, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure that supports our business operations and future growth. Key Responsibilities * Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across leading cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). * Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools). * Monitor system availability, performance, and security. * Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies. * Configure and maintain networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers. * Manage Linux and Windows server environments. * Collaborate with software development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices. * Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide technical support when required. * Maintain accurate documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures. QualificationsRequired * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering. * Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). * Experience with virtualization technologies and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. * Experience with scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, or Python. * Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and identity management. * Experience with monitoring and logging solutions. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Preferred * AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud professional certifications. * Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins. * Knowledge of security frameworks and cloud governance. * Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud environments.
