Summary: Seeking an experienced Environmental Officer to manage, monitor, and ensure environmental and sustainability compliance across construction site activities. Highlights: 1. Promote environmental awareness and best practices among site personnel. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Officer to join our construction project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements across construction site activities in line with project specifications and applicable regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Implement and monitor the Construction Environmental Management and Sustainability Plan (CESMP) on site. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements. * Monitor environmental performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic reports. * Identify, document, and follow up on environmental non\-conformances and corrective actions. * Ensure proper waste management, pollution control, and environmental protection measures are in place. * Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure environmental compliance. * Support audits, inspections, and external authority requirements. * Maintain environmental records, reports, and documentation as per project standards. * Promote environmental awareness and best practices among site personnel. * Ensure compliance with local environmental laws, regulations, and client requirements. **Requirements:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management within construction projects. * Strong knowledge of CESMP, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices. * Experience in site inspections, reporting, and environmental compliance monitoring. * Educational background in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field (degree/diploma/certification preferred). * Strong reporting, communication, and coordination skills. * Membership in Internationally Recognised Organisations * Familiarity with environmental audits and compliance procedures.
