Opportunity in the dynamic shipping/Oil/Gas sector Primary Purpose of the Job: Coordinate all communications and instructions between the LNG Shipping Department of the QatarEnergy Marketing Directorate and the Chartered LNG Ships to ensure that voyages are managed properly, and ships operate safely and efficiently, while also coordinating the process of problem resolution with regards to fleet commercial operations between related stakeholders, owners, and/or operators. Required Experience and Skills: 8 years’ experience of shipping operations within a shipping/Oil/Gas Company or should have sailed as a Senior Deck or Engineering Officer; or internal transfer from marine/shipping related activities (Example: QELNG Loading and Storage) * Must have previous experience and understanding of ship operations including marine loading and discharging, in LNG or LPG operations. Educational Qualifications: Class 1 Marine Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner or Chief Engineer) or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Studies or similar.
