The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, managing the workforce, and coordinating with internal departments and logistics service providers to achieve organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities * Supervising the execution of daily logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and transportation. * Tracking shipment movements and ensuring on-time delivery. * Coordinating operations with transportation companies, suppliers, and customers. * Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse management to ensure product availability. * Overseeing work schedule preparation and task assignment to the operations team. * Monitoring performance indicators, analyzing operational reports, and proposing improvements. * Resolving operational issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions. * Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures. * Monitoring operational costs and optimizing resource utilization efficiency. * Participating in developing work procedures and improving logistics operations. * Preparing periodic reports to management on operational performance and service levels. * Supervising staff training and performance evaluation. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management, including supervisory experience. * Professional certifications are preferred, such as: * Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) * Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) * Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Required Skills * Solid understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. * Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. * Ability to plan and organize operations and manage time effectively. * Leadership and team management skills. * Data analysis and operational reporting capabilities. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Effective communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. * Fluency in English (reading and writing). Operational Responsibilities * Monitoring the implementation of daily shipping and receiving plans. * Monitoring operational performance indicators and taking corrective actions when necessary. * Ensuring compliance with safety plans and work procedures. * Coordinating with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse departments. * Monitoring maintenance of transportation vehicles and equipment in coordination with relevant departments. * Supervising documentation of logistics operations and records. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * On-Time Delivery rate. * Order Accuracy rate. * Utilization rate of transportation means and warehouses. * Logistics operational cost per order or shipment. * Inventory turnover rate. * Number of complaints related to shipping or delivery. * Customer satisfaction level. * Compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Work Environment * Full-time position. * May require shift work or working outside standard hours based on operational requirements. * Fieldwork within warehouses and distribution centers, with continuous coordination with transportation, procurement, sales, customer service, and logistics service provider teams.
