Focus on Aluminium, Curtain Wall, Cladding, and Façade works We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified **Project Manager – Site** with strong expertise in **Aluminium, Curtain Wall, Cladding, and Façade works** to lead and manage the overall execution of major façade projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery from planning and procurement through fabrication, site installation, testing, completion, and handover, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, within the approved programme and budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and client expectations. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria: Key Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Architectural Engineering** or related field. * Minimum **15 years of relevant experience**, with significant experience in **Aluminium, Curtain Wall, Cladding, and Façade projects**. * Minimum **5 years of experience in a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager role** specifically managing façade, aluminium, curtain wall, or cladding projects. * Proven experience managing **large\-scale building and façade projects** from commencement through completion and handover. * Strong technical and practical knowledge of: * Aluminium curtain wall systems * Unitized and stick curtain wall systems * Aluminium doors and windows * ACP / aluminium cladding * Louvers and screens * Skylights and glazing systems * Structural glazing and façade systems * Sealants, gaskets, anchors, brackets, flashings, and waterproofing interfaces * Strong understanding of **façade design coordination, shop drawings, material specifications, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning**. * Experience coordinating façade works with **architectural, structural, MEP, waterproofing, and other building trades**. * Strong knowledge of **façade performance requirements**, including wind loads, water tightness, air infiltration, thermal performance, structural movement, deflection, and weather sealing. * Good knowledge of relevant **EN, ASTM, BS standards and Qatar/GCC building requirements**. * Experience in managing **fabricators, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and specialist façade contractors**. * Strong knowledge of **project planning, scheduling, procurement, cost control, variations, claims, and commercial management**. * Proficiency in **Primavera P6 / MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Office**, and other relevant project management tools. * Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills. * Ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders under demanding project conditions. * **MMUP/UPDA registration** is preferred. * **PMP or relevant project management certification** is an advantage. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the **overall execution of Aluminium, Curtain Wall, Cladding, and Façade works** from project commencement through completion and handover. * Establish and monitor the **project execution programme**, ensuring façade activities are completed in line with project milestones. * Manage project **planning, procurement, fabrication, delivery, installation, testing, snagging, and handover**. * Coordinate with **client, consultant, architect, structural engineer, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments** to ensure smooth project execution. * Lead and supervise **project managers, site engineers, façade engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, and other project personnel**. * Review and coordinate **architectural and structural drawings, shop drawings, design details, calculations, material submittals, samples, and technical submissions**. * Ensure proper coordination of façade systems with **structure, waterproofing, MEP, finishes, interfaces, tolerances, and building movement**. * Monitor **fabrication and manufacturing activities** to ensure materials, finishes, dimensions, tolerances, and workmanship comply with approved requirements. * Ensure site installation is carried out in accordance with **approved drawings, method statements, specifications, ITPs, and manufacturer requirements**. * Monitor the installation of **curtain walls, aluminium doors/windows, cladding, ACP, glazing, louvers, skylights, and associated façade systems**. * Ensure façade performance requirements relating to **air, water, structural integrity, thermal performance, sealants, joints, and weather protection** are achieved. * Coordinate and monitor **mock\-ups, testing, inspections, performance tests, and third\-party testing** where required. * Monitor project **progress, manpower, productivity, materials, equipment, fabrication, deliveries, and installation rates**. * Identify and resolve **technical, construction, coordination, and interface issues** affecting project progress. * Manage and resolve **RFIs, NCRs, site observations, variations, claims, technical queries, and construction issues**. * Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance and ensure compliance with **programme, quality, safety, and contractual requirements**. * Coordinate with the commercial team regarding **BOQs, variations, claims, material costs, subcontractor payments, and cost control**. * Identify opportunities for **value engineering, cost optimization, and improved construction methods** without compromising quality or performance. * Ensure compliance with **HSE requirements and applicable Qatar regulations** throughout fabrication and site activities. * Conduct regular **project progress and coordination meetings** and ensure timely closure of outstanding actions. * Prepare and review **progress reports, project forecasts, productivity reports, and management updates**. * Ensure proper completion of **testing, snagging, rectification, as\-built drawings, O\&M documentation, and final handover**. * Maintain effective relationships with **clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders**. * Provide leadership and technical direction to ensure successful and timely **façade project delivery**.
