Overseeing and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) Job Description We are seeking a Quality Assurance Director with leadership experience in developing and implementing quality management systems to ensure that products, services, and processes comply with the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. The candidate will be responsible for formulating quality assurance strategies and policies, overseeing audit and continuous improvement programs, leading quality teams to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer satisfaction, while adhering to applicable regulations and laws in the State of Qatar. Responsibilities and Duties Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies aligned with company objectives. Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure its consistent implementation and continual improvement. Lead quality assurance teams, enhance their performance, and foster a quality culture across the organization. Develop and execute internal and external audit plans, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant regulatory requirements. Develop quality-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor performance, and analyze results. Collaborate with various departments to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase operational efficiency. Oversee customer complaint management, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Review and approve quality-related policies, procedures, and documentation. Manage quality-related risks and develop continuous improvement plans. Prepare periodic quality performance reports and submit them to senior management. Stay updated on the latest global best practices and standards in quality management and assurance. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Quality Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in implementing quality management systems and managing audit and continuous improvement processes. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis tools. Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), or Six Sigma Black Belt are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management systems. Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written. Salary: QAR٣٩٠‏٠٠٠‎.٠٠ per year Work Location: On-site
