Serve as primary contact for clients regarding engagement scope and findings. **Job Title: Senior Auditor** **Job Brief** We are seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented Senior Auditor to lead and manage audit engagements. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for overseeing the auditing process, from planning through to reporting, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, and identifying areas for operational and financial improvement. This role involves supervising junior team members and acting as a key point of contact for clients or management. **Key Responsibilities** **Audit Planning and Execution** * Lead the planning and execution of complex financial, operational, and compliance audits. * Perform effective risk assessments and develop audit plans and programs. * Coordinate the day\-to\-day duties of the audit team, including fieldwork and wrap\-up, ensuring engagements are completed on time and within budget. **Team Leadership and Supervision** * Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior and staff auditors. * Allocate responsibilities and provide on\-the\-job training to team members. * Review work papers for accuracy, compliance, and completeness. **Technical Application and Reporting** * Document and evaluate accounting systems and internal controls, identifying weaknesses and suggesting improvements. * Analyze financial statements, records, and transactions for accuracy and compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, GAAS). * Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings with recommendations to management, clients, or audit committees. * Perform follow\-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented. **Client and Stakeholder Relations** * Serve as the primary contact for clients or management regarding engagement scope and findings. * Liaise with governmental officials or clients to discuss audit results. * Represent the firm or department in a professional manner. **Job Requirements** **Education** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. **Professional Certification (Highly Preferred or Required)** * Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar professional certification. **Experience** * **General:** Minimum of 3\-7 years of progressive experience in auditing, either in public accounting or an internal audit department. * **Specific:** Proven experience leading and managing audit teams and engagements. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** * **Technical Knowledge:** In\-depth understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles (GAAP), and internal control frameworks. * **Soft Skills:** Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and critical thinking skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. * **Technical Skills:** Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with accounting or audit software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CaseWare). * **Attributes:** High integrity, reliability, and professional judgment Pay: QAR384,897\.94 \- QAR438,645\.61 per year Work Location: In person
