Summary: This junior-level Electrical Engineer will support engineering, design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and MEP systems. Highlights: 1. Electrical Engineer – New Entry / Junior LevelPosition Title Electrical Engineer – Junior / New Entry Department Engineering / Projects Job Purpose The Electrical Engineer will support the engineering, design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities related to electrical systems, including fire alarm, fire fighting control systems, and other related MEP systems. The role is suitable for a new\-entry engineer who will receive practical training and guidance while developing technical and site experience. Key Responsibilities1\. Engineering and Technical Support * Assist in reviewing project drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Support the preparation and checking of electrical shop drawings, layouts, and schematics. * Assist in preparing material submittals, technical submittals, and method statements. * Review project requirements and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications. * Support the preparation of material take\-offs and technical requirements. 2\. Site Supervision * Assist in supervising electrical installation works at project sites. * Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, subcontractors, and other site teams. * Monitor the progress and quality of electrical works. * Ensure installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements. * Report site issues, delays, technical problems, and material requirements to the concerned manager. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience. * Basic knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles. * Basic ability to read and understand electrical drawings. * Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred. * Knowledge of fire alarm and firefighting systems is an advantage. * Knowledge of relevant standards and authority requirements is an advantage. Additional Requirements * Must hold a valid **Qatar driving license**. * Must have a **valid own visa / freelance visa**. * Candidates who can **join immediately** will be preferred. * Must be available to work in Qatar and attend project sites as required. * Previous experience in fire alarm, firefighting, MEP, or electrical systems will be an advantage.
