Strong expertise in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka Big Data Architect Role Overview Our organization is seeking a Big Data Architect to design and build large-scale data platform infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for developing data architectures, managing data flows, and ensuring scalability and high performance for analytics and AI platforms. Responsibilities and Duties * Designing big data platform architectures (Big Data Architecture). * Developing and building large-scale data pipelines (Data Pipelines). * Managing storage and processing of structured and unstructured data. * Ensuring scalability and high performance of data systems. * Overseeing data integration from multiple sources. * Supporting data science and analytics teams with appropriate data. * Implementing best practices for data governance and security. * Evaluating and adopting data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.). * Optimizing database and data warehouse performance. * Collaborating with DevOps and Cloud teams to build cloud-based data solutions. * Preparing architectural documentation for data systems. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems. * 8–15 years of experience in data engineering or data architecture. * Strong expertise in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka. * Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP). * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. * Strong understanding of data integration and ETL/ELT. * High analytical and engineering skills. * Experience designing scalable systems.
