Summary:
This role involves comprehensive material control for project materials, ensuring availability, accurate inventory, and coordination across various teams to support construction priorities.

3. Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Construction, Planning teams
* Control and monitor all project materials including bulk materials, piping, valves, structural steel, electrical and instrumentation items
* Ensure materials are available at site as per construction priorities and project schedule
* Maintain accurate inventory records in systems.
* Track material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
* Prevent material shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence
* Coordinate closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Logistics teams.
* Support material requirement planning based on drawings and construction schedules.
* Liaise with subcontractors for material allocation and control.
* Participate in weekly material status and coordination meetings.
* Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists
* Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection and release
* Ensure proper storage, preservation, and identification of materials as per project and vendor requirements
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material status reports
* Assist in material reconciliation and close\-out at project completion
* Promote safe material handling and storage practices
**Qualifications \& Experience**
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 5–10 years experience in material control for Oil \& Gas projects
* Previous experience in Ras Laffan or QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred
* Knowledge of LNG project requirements is an advantage.
