Our client, a leading organization in **infrastructure and public works development**, is seeking an accomplished **MEP Director** to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex **MEP systems** across major infrastructure, roads, drainage, and utility projects in Qatar. **Role Overview** The **MEP Director** will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing functions across multiple large\-scale projects, ensuring technical excellence, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in **infrastructure and government projects**, extensive leadership experience, and the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders within a fast\-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the overall **MEP strategy, planning, design review, and execution** across multi\-disciplinary infrastructure projects. * Ensure MEP systems meet project, regulatory, and authority requirements through effective coordination with design and construction teams. * Oversee design validation, technical compliance, and value engineering initiatives for large\-scale public works and utilities. * Build and maintain strong working relationships with **clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities**. * Provide leadership and direction to engineering and project teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. * Drive innovation, sustainability, and quality across all MEP activities. **Qualifications \& Experience** * **Bachelor’s degree in Engineering** (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). * **18–20 years of experience** in **MEP works**, including **8–10 years in senior leadership roles**. * Proven experience in delivering **large\-scale infrastructure and public works projects**. * Deep understanding of **MEP systems design, construction, and integration** within infrastructure projects. * Strong network and established relationships with key **clients, consultants, and government entities** in Qatar. * **Arabic speaker is a must**; bilingual proficiency (Arabic/English) highly preferred. * **Preference for candidates in Qatar with NOC.** **Why This Role** This is a career\-defining opportunity to lead MEP delivery for some of Qatar’s most ambitious infrastructure projects — influencing national\-scale development and driving engineering excellence across public works.
