Work within the Occupational Health and Safety field **Safety Planner \- Qatar** --------------------------- **Department:** --------------- HSEQ **Job Location:** ----------------- **Qatar** **Purpose:** ------------ * Planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive and corrective inspections for maintenance and integrity activities related to the Safety Department to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and systems. **Knowledge Skills and Experience:** ------------------------------------ * **Valid Qatar ID holders with NOC are preferred** * High school Certificate * Minimum 3 years of experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field. * Minimum 1 Year Experience in the Oil and Gas Field. * Strong knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of Safety Technicians. * Solid understanding of the Technical Planner and scheduler for activities related to Safety Equipment PM. * Good computer literate with a knowledge of SAP and commonly used business software applications. * Familiarity with preventative and corrective maintenance systems, performance measures, and their applications. * NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. * Good computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office tools. * Good understanding regarding the working and correct usage of different types of safety equipment (Breathing Apparatus/Gas Monitors/Fall Arrestors/PPEs, etc.). * Good communication skills in English. * Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. * Good adaptability to a multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures. **Key Result Areas:** --------------------- * Planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive and corrective inspections, maintenance, and integrity activities related to the Safety Department to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and systems. * Coordinate and follow up on all necessary transportation and logistics. * Coordinate and ensure material availability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance assigned to the Safety Department. * Ensure daily RBWS meeting occurrence and relevant representation for preventative and corrective maintenance assigned to the Safety Department. * Coordinate and follow up on the ITP/PO, delivery notes, invoices, and SES. * Review safety\-critical equipment services records and timesheets.
