Summary: Switzel International seeks an experienced Senior Surveyor for infrastructure and construction projects, specializing in laser scanning, utility surveying, and point cloud data. Switzel International is looking for an experienced **Senior Surveyor** with strong expertise in **laser scanning, utility surveying, manhole inspection/scanning works, and point cloud data registration** for infrastructure and construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have hands\-on experience in performing site surveys, laser scanning operations, point cloud registration, and manhole/invert level verification for infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities * Perform laser scanning and surveying activities at project sites. * Carry out manhole inspections, measurements, and utility verification works. * Capture accurate invert levels, pipe levels, and underground utility information. * Operate laser scanning equipment, LiDAR devices, total stations, GPS, and related survey instruments. * Perform point cloud data processing and registration using relevant software. * Coordinate with BIM and engineering teams for scan\-to\-BIM workflows. * Ensure accuracy and quality of point cloud data and survey deliverables. * Prepare survey reports, field records, and technical documentation. * Coordinate with project teams and clients regarding survey activities and site access. * Ensure compliance with project requirements, HSE standards, and QA/QC procedures. Requirements * Minimum 8–10 years of surveying experience in construction and infrastructure projects. * Minimum 3 years of experience in laser scanning and manhole surveying works in Qatar/GCC. * Strong experience with: * Laser Scanners / LiDAR devices * Point cloud data collection and registration * Manhole and utility surveys * Invert level measurements * Underground utility verification * Experience using Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Autodesk Recap, Faro Scene, Cyclone, or related survey software. * Knowledge of scan\-to\-BIM workflows will be an advantage. * Ability to work independently on active construction sites. * Valid Qatar driving license is preferred. * Immediate availability is preferred. Preferred Skills * Experience in infrastructure, drainage, roads, or utility projects. * Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination processes. * Strong communication and reporting skills.
