Opportunity for emergency call-out support **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced **HVAC Service Technician** to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring maximum equipment availability and high\-quality customer service both at the depot and on customer sites. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment. * Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance in line with company procedures. * Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment faults efficiently to minimise downtime. * Service and maintain chillers, DX package units, split units and temperature control systems. * Ensure equipment is prepared for hire in accordance with company procedures. * Complete service reports accurately and obtain customer approval for on\-site work. * Respond promptly to customer requirements and emergency call\-outs. * Maintain appropriate spare parts and tools in the service vehicle. * Maintain good housekeeping of the work area, tools and service vehicle. * Comply with QHSE, ISO standards, company policies and local legislation. * Support 24\-hour emergency call\-out requirements when required. * Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety and service quality. Requirements * Minimum **3 years’ relevant experience** as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role. * Recognised HVAC trade qualification from an accredited organisation. * Diploma/degree or relevant qualification in **Mechanical or Electrical Engineering**. * Strong hands\-on experience with **York, Carrier and Trane** chillers, DX and split units. * Experience with **air\-cooled chillers, district cooling/chiller plants and temperature control systems**. * Experience with HVAC controllers, including programming and troubleshooting. * Experience repairing **piston and screw compressors**. * Previous experience in the **HVAC rental industry** is highly desirable. * Valid **driving licence** is essential. * Willingness to work extended hours and participate in **24\-hour call\-outs** when required.
