Lead and train maintenance staff **Job Summary** Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for commercial kitchen equipment, Mechanical, Electrical \& Plumbing (MEP) systems, and HVAC/Air Conditioning systems. Ensures all equipment and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety, health, and company standards while minimizing downtime. Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Kitchen Equipment * Supervise maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, including: * Combi ovens * Convection ovens * Fryers * Grills * Ranges * Steamers * Salamanders * Refrigerators and freezers * Ice machines * Dishwashers * Food preparation equipment (mixers, slicers, blenders, etc.) * Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate repairs. * Schedule preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability. * Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend replacement of obsolete equipment. MEP Systems * Supervise maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. * Ensure proper operation of pumps, water heaters, drainage systems, and electrical distribution panels. * Monitor emergency systems and utility services. * Coordinate with contractors for specialized maintenance projects. HVAC \& Air Conditioning * Oversee maintenance of split AC, ducted systems, package units, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust and fresh air systems. * Monitor cooling performance, refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, and ventilation equipment. * Ensure proper indoor air quality and kitchen ventilation performance. Preventive Maintenance, Team Supervision, Health, Safety \& Compliance * Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. * Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history. * Analyze recurring equipment failures and recommend improvements. * Supervise technicians and assign daily maintenance tasks. * Train maintenance staff on equipment operation, safety, and troubleshooting. * Evaluate team performance and ensure productivity. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety requirements, and local authority standards. * Ensure proper use of PPE by maintenance personnel. * Monitor maintenance budgets and control repair costs. * Maintain inventory of tools, consumables, and critical spare parts. * Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for quotations and procurement. Qualifications * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. * Technical certifications in HVAC, Refrigeration, or MEP are an advantage. * Minimum **10 years** of maintenance experience in **F\&B, restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels, catering, or food production facilities**. * At least **5 years** in a supervisory role. * Hands\-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment, MEP systems, and HVAC maintenance. * Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment troubleshooting. * Experience with electrical control systems, motors, pumps, and plumbing. * Good understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and ventilation. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem\-solving ability. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. * Strong planning and organizational skills. Working Conditions * Work in commercial kitchens, restaurants, food production facilities, and central kitchens. * Availability for emergency breakdowns, weekend work, and on\-call duties as required. * Exposure to heat, refrigeration systems, electrical equipment, and mechanical machinery.
