This role ensures that all erection activities comply with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and safety standards to prepare the unit for commissioning** **Key Job Responsibilities** * **Site Supervision \& Execution:** Supervise the day\-to\-day erection activities of gas turbines, generators, piping systems, and auxiliaries. * **Technical Alignment:** Ensure precise alignment of the gas turbine\-generator shaft line and related heavy machinery. * **Drawing \& Specification Interpretation:** Review and interpret engineering, fabrication, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings. * **Methodology Development:** Develop, review, and implement erection methods, sequences, and procedures to ensure structural stability. * **Quality Control (QC):** Perform inspections on installation activities, check welding quality, and verify compliance with standards (e.g., ASME, IBR). * **Coordination:** Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure materials and equipment are available on\-site as per the schedule. * **Safety Adherence:** Ensure compliance with all site safety protocols, including rigging, lifting, and working at heights. * **Documentation:** Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, inspection records, and as\-built documentation.
