Build and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers **Procurement Specialist** Position Overview Our company is seeking a Procurement Specialist with experience in managing procurement operations and negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials and services at optimal quality, cost, and schedule, in compliance with company policies and established standards. Duties and Responsibilities * Manage and execute daily procurement operations according to departmental requirements. * Identify approved suppliers, evaluate quotations, and compare offers. * Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and contractual terms. * Prepare purchase orders and follow up on delivery and supply processes. * Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages. * Build and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers. * Prepare periodic procurement and expenditure reports. * Verify that materials and services meet specified requirements. * Monitor supplier performance and propose continuous improvements to procurement processes. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain functions. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Good knowledge of procurement systems and supplier management. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems. * Ability to analyze data and prepare reports. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. Preferred Skills * Experience in the Qatari or Gulf market. * Knowledge of import/export procedures and contract management. * Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Salary: QAR14,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site
