Support for professional certifications and career progression Job Summary Precision Lock \& Key Security Solutions W.L.L. is seeking an experienced and technically capable **Senior Access Control Projects Manager** to lead the delivery of access control, electronic security, smart\-locking, and integrated building\-security projects in Doha. This senior role is suited to a security\-systems professional with strong experience managing projects involving electronic access control, biometric identification, smart locks, key\-management systems, intercoms, barriers, turnstiles, CCTV integration, alarm interfaces, and building\-management platforms. The successful candidate will manage projects from site assessment, system design, estimation, and procurement through installation, programming, testing, commissioning, client training, handover, and ongoing support. The role requires technical knowledge, commercial control, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate engineers, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and clients. Key Responsibilities * Lead access control and electronic\-security projects from initial enquiry and site survey through design, installation, commissioning, handover, and closeout * Define project scope, technical requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and acceptance criteria * Manage projects involving card and mobile access, biometric readers, smart locks, electronic cylinders, key cabinets, visitor\-management systems, barriers, gates, and turnstiles * Coordinate access\-control integration with CCTV, intrusion alarms, intercoms, elevators, fire\-alarm systems, human\-resources databases, and building\-management systems * Review architectural, electrical, security, door\-hardware, and low\-voltage drawings to identify technical and operational requirements * Prepare system designs, equipment schedules, bills of quantities, project programmes, technical submittals, and implementation plans * Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, architects, engineers, facility managers, security teams, suppliers, and authorities * Lead project kick\-off meetings, design reviews, technical workshops, progress meetings, site coordination, and client presentations * Supervise engineers, programmers, installers, locksmiths, technicians, subcontractors, and commissioning personnel * Monitor installation quality, cable routing, device placement, controller configuration, network connectivity, software programming, and system integration * Ensure door hardware, locks, readers, sensors, request\-to\-exit devices, emergency\-release equipment, and control panels function as a complete system * Manage equipment procurement, supplier orders, delivery schedules, licences, warranties, replacement parts, and specialist services * Review vendor proposals, technical data sheets, product certifications, shop drawings, samples, and method statements * Monitor project costs, labour hours, procurement commitments, variations, invoices, cash flow, and commercial performance * Identify technical risks, coordination conflicts, programme delays, cybersecurity concerns, and supply\-chain issues at an early stage * Develop recovery plans, corrective actions, alternative technical solutions, and escalation procedures * Ensure all works comply with approved designs, client security policies, quality requirements, health and safety procedures, and applicable standards * Coordinate testing, commissioning, fail\-safe and fail\-secure operation, emergency release, system integration, and user\-acceptance testing * Maintain accurate project documentation, including configuration records, access\-level matrices, test results, asset registers, as\-built drawings, and operation manuals * Protect confidential security information, administrator credentials, floor plans, access permissions, system architecture, and client data * Manage client training, administrator handover, operational guidance, maintenance documentation, and warranty support * Support preventive\-maintenance planning, service contracts, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and post\-installation support * Prepare progress reports, risk registers, cost forecasts, technical summaries, handover packages, and executive presentations * Support tender responses, technical proposals, site assessments, cost estimates, demonstrations, and pre\-sales presentations * Maintain awareness of smart\-building technology, mobile credentials, biometrics, cloud access control, wireless locks, cybersecurity, and electronic\-security developments Requirements * Significant experience managing access control, electronic security, physical security, locksmithing, low\-voltage, or building\-technology projects * Proven ability to deliver projects from survey and system design through installation, programming, commissioning, and final handover * Strong knowledge of access\-control systems, electronic locks, biometric readers, smart credentials, controllers, door hardware, and security software * Experience integrating access control with CCTV, alarms, intercoms, elevators, fire systems, visitor management, or building\-management platforms * Strong understanding of fail\-safe and fail\-secure locking, emergency egress, door monitoring, access permissions, and security\-system operation * Experience reading architectural, electrical, door\-schedule, security, and low\-voltage drawings * Ability to prepare technical designs, bills of quantities, project schedules, method statements, submittals, and commissioning documents * Experience managing engineers, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client stakeholders * Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, procurement, risk management, quality assurance, and change control * Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, reporting, problem\-solving, and client\-management skills * Familiarity with IP networking, databases, servers, cloud platforms, software licensing, and cybersecurity principles would be advantageous * Knowledge of recognised access\-control, smart\-locking, security\-management, or door\-hardware platforms would be beneficial * Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, access\-control software, project\-management systems, or equivalent tools * Previous access\-control or electronic\-security project experience in Qatar or the wider Gulf Cooperation Council region would be advantageous * Strong command of written and spoken English; Arabic or additional language skills would be beneficial * Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Security Systems, Project Management, or a
