Perform precision repair and machining jobs accurately **Job Description** Experienced Automotive Lathe / Turna Operator (7–10\+ Years Experience Required) Job Summary We are a well established automotive repair workshop seeking a highly experienced Automotive Lathe / Turna Operator to join our team. This position is suited for a skilled professional with strong hands on experience performing automotive machining, repair, and fabrication work in a fast paced garage environment. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, handle precision repair and machining jobs accurately, and support workshop operations with high quality workmanship and efficiency at all times. Key Responsibilities * Perform engine cylinder head facing and related head work * Carry out brake disc and brake drum polishing / machining * Perform bush replacement, repair, fitting, and fabrication work * Repair and rebuild shock absorbers and suspension related components * Perform steering column repairs and related machining work * Carry out axle boot replacement and axle related repair work * Perform welding and fabrication jobs related to automotive repairs * Operate lathe, turning, polishing, drilling, and workshop machining equipment * Perform injector cleaning, testing, servicing, and related fuel system repair work on petrol and diesel vehicles * Measure and machine components accurately using precision tools * Repair reusable automotive components where applicable * Support mechanics and workshop staff with machining and fabrication requirements * Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and machinery in proper condition * Follow workshop safety standards and operational procedures * Complete assigned jobs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Required Experience \& Qualifications * Minimum 7–10 years of experience as an Automotive Lathe / Turna Operator * Proven experience working in automotive garages or repair workshops * Strong knowledge of automotive components, repair methods, and machining techniques * Experience with engine head work, brake machining, bush work, welding, and fabrication * Ability to use lathe and workshop machinery with precision and accuracy * Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Good understanding of workshop safety practices * Reliable, hardworking, and committed to high quality work What We Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Stable and respectful working environment * Opportunity to grow within the business and be a key part of workshop operations How to Apply Qualified candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply with their CV **Job Type:** Full\-time **Work Location:** In person Work Location: In person
